Helping women in tech to connect, develop and thrive.

Tenth Revolution Group are proud to announce the launch of our new mentoring program, Mentor Me.

Mentor Me brings women across the technology industry together with experienced mentors who can help them navigate challenges, build confidence and make more informed decisions about their careers.

The number of women in senior leadership roles in tech still hovers at around 9% and we want to change that. This is not just for those that have technical roles currently, but those who are growing their careers in tech and transformation.

Whether you are building your career, taking on new responsibilities or already operating in a leadership role, having someone outside your immediate organization to challenge your thinking and share their experience can be incredibly valuable.

Mentor Me gives you that support, alongside access to a wider community of professionals across technology.

Mentoring for every stage of your career

Career development does not stop when you become a leader.

Mentor Me is designed for professionals at different stages of their careers, from people looking to build confidence and take their next step to experienced leaders navigating new challenges, greater responsibility or transformation within their organizations.

Your mentoring relationship is shaped around what matters to you.

That could include:

You remain in control of your development. Your mentor is there to listen, challenge your thinking, share experience and help you turn your goals into practical actions.

More than one-to-one mentoring

Mentor Me is built around a six-month mentoring relationship, but the experience goes beyond your monthly conversations.
As part of the program, mentees can expect:

A carefully considered mentor match

We match mentors and mentees based on factors including location, personality, professional experience, skills and technology expertise. If you are aligned to a specific niche ecosystem and have a preference to find a mentor in that ecosystem too, we will match you accordingly.

Our aim is to create a relationship that gives you access to relevant experience while bringing a valuable new perspective to your career.

An onboarding and kick-off

Once you have been matched, you will be introduced to your mentor and supported as you begin the relationship.

You will receive practical guidance and resources to help you structure your sessions, define your goals and make the most of your time together.

Monthly mentoring sessions

You and your mentor commit to meeting at least once a month over six months.

These conversations are yours to shape. You might discuss your progress against goals, work through a current challenge, explore a career decision or simply get an experienced perspective on what comes next.

A community of peers

You are not developing in isolation.

Throughout the program, participants are invited to networking events, roundtables and other opportunities to meet women working across technology and transformation.

These events create another space to exchange ideas, make new connections and learn from the experiences of people working across the industry.

Ongoing support

The Tenth Revolution Group team stays connected throughout the six months, with regular check-ins to help ensure your mentoring relationship is working effectively.

At the end of the program, we come back together to reflect on progress, key achievements and what comes next.

What Mentor Me participants say

Who can take part?

Become a mentee

Mentor Me is open to professionals currently working in technology.

You do not need to be at a particular level of seniority. Whether you are developing your career or already working in a leadership position, the program gives you access to experience, perspective and a professional network that can help you continue moving forward.

We are committed to helping organizations improve gender representation across technology, so applications from women will be prioritized.

Become a mentor

Mentor Me relies on experienced technology professionals who are willing to share what they have learned.

We welcome mentors of all genders with at least ten years of experience working in technology.

You do not need to have mentored someone before. Tenth Revolution Group provides introductory training and supporting resources to help you build an effective mentoring relationship.

Your role is not to provide all the answers. It is to act as a trusted adviser, ask the right questions and use your experience to help your mentee find the right path for them.

“Joining the Mentor Me program was one of the best decisions in my entire career… it opened up my eyes. It made me think about the hard questions and find the harder answers. It’s a great experience to connect with other people, hear about amazing experiences, and go home with great advice.

[My mentee] did amazing work even in the first session. I felt my job was to ask her questions and prompt her to dig deeper as well as make her feel she had a safe in her mentoring space. I wanted her to bring her authentic self during the time we had. I feel privileged to play a small part in her mentoring process. She’s awesome.”
